In the warm season, it is allowed to use clean water, and at sub-zero temperatures, use only special windshield washer fluids (see annex 1).
Attention! At an ambient temperature of 0°C or below, it is forbidden to pour water into the windshield washer reservoir without special windshield washer fluids due to possible damage to the washer pump.
Replacing wiper blades
To replace the wiper blades, do the following:
- lift the wiper arm off the windshield;
- rotate the brush on the axis of rotation, placing it approximately perpendicular to the lever, after removing the brush fixation on the lever (by pressing the protrusion of the adapter between the brush and the lever), remove the brush from the lever.
Install the new brush in reverse order.
Attention!
- 1. To ensure good visibility through the windshield, wiper blades must be kept in perfect condition.
- 2. To avoid deformation of the brushes, it is necessary to regularly clean the wiper blades with fluid from the washer reservoir. If the glasses and brushes are heavily soiled, e.g. with insect residues (stuck on glass), road salt, road surface elements, clean the outside of the glass and the brush with a soft cloth using special detergents. After cleaning, rinse the glass and brushes with clean water.
- 3. Taking into account that windshield wipers belong to the traffic safety system, it is recommended to replace the wiper blades every six months during continuous operation of the car.
