Gear shift lever for an automated transmission (Granta 2190)

The gear shift lever has 2 lines (figure 48) - one for switching from neutral (N) to reverse (R) or automatic mode (A) and the other for upshifting or downshifting in manual mode (M). The two lines are connected to switch between automatic mode (A) and manual mode.



Manual mode (M) can only be engaged from automatic mode (A). Reverse gear (R) can only be requested from neutral position (N). Shifting up (+) or down (-) is only possible in manual mode (M).

Positions (N), (R), (A), (M) are fixed, positions (+) and (-) are not fixed.
