Removal
1. Prepare the car for work and disconnect the wire terminal from the negative terminal of the battery (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the instrument panel trim (see "Instrument panel console trim - removal and installation").
3. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws securing the unit to the instrument panel, holding the screw nuts with a 10 mm wrench.
4. Remove the unit from the instrument panel and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the immobilizer control unit.
Installation
We install the block in reverse order.
