Removing
1. We prepare the car for work and disconnect the terminal from the negative terminal of the battery (see «Preparing the car for technical inspection and repair»).
2. Remove the gear lever handle along with the cover (see «Gearshift drive - removal, disassembly, installation and adjustment»).
3. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the screw securing the right lining of the instrument panel console.
4. Shifting forward, remove the pad.
5. Remove the left trim in the same way.
6. On the right and left sides of the tunnel, use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the two self-tapping screws of the front fastening of the floor tunnel lining.
7. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the three screws securing the lining of the parking brake lever.
8. Remove the lining of the lever. Raising the parking brake lever, use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the screw securing the control lamp switch. Disconnect the wiring harness from the switch.
9. Through the hole in the switch bracket, use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the self-tapping screw of the rear fastening of the floor tunnel lining.
10. Raise the lining of the floor tunnel above the gear lever and turn it over.
11. Disconnect the wire block from the cigarette lighter.
12. Prying with a screwdriver, remove the diagnostic connector block from the lining hole.
13. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the two screws securing the fuse box and disconnect the block from the lining.
14. Remove the lining of the floor tunnel.
Installation
Install the upholstery of the floor tunnel in reverse order.
