Fuel Pressure Regulator — Replacement (Kalina 1119)

If you suspect that the pressure regulator is faulty, it must be replaced.

Removal

1. Remove the fuel module (see "Fuel module - removal and installation").

2. Disconnect the wire tip from the fuel pressure regulator (see "Fuel Level Gauge Sensor - Replacement").

3. Using a slotted screwdriver, pry up and remove the spring retainer of the pressure regulator.



4. Remove the regulator from the fuel module cover.

Installation

We install the new fuel pressure regulator in the reverse order, having first applied a thin layer of engine oil to the sealing rings.
