Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Relieve the fuel pressure (see above, "Fuel Line - Pressure Relief").
Warning! After releasing the pressure, a small amount of fuel remains in the fuel line.
3. Wipe the fuel filter and the fuel pipes connected to it with a rag. We treat the thread of the filter clamp tie bolt with penetrating lubricant.
Recommendation. Before disconnecting the tube tip from the filter, prepare a small, wide container with a capacity of 0.5 l to drain the remaining gasoline from the fuel line.
4. Using a 10 mm wrench, unscrew the clamp bolt of the fuel filter mounting clamp.
5. By squeezing the clamps, disconnect the fuel lines from the filter.
6. Remove the filter from the clamp.
Installation
We install the new filter in the reverse order.
Warning: Pay attention to the arrow on the filter housing indicating the direction of fuel flow. It should be directed towards the front of the car.
