Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Relieve the fuel pressure (see "Fuel Line - Pressure Relief").
After releasing the pressure, a small amount of fuel remains in the fuel line.
3. Unscrew the nuts and bolts securing the intake module and move it as far forward as possible (see "Intake module - removal and installation").
4. Disconnect the injector wiring harness connectors.
5. Using a 17 mm open-end wrench, unscrew the fuel line fitting from the fuel rail, holding the hex end of the fuel rail with a wrench of the same size.
6. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the screw securing the fuel line to the cylinder head.
7. Move the end of the fuel line away from the fuel rail. We remove the rubber sealing ring from the fuel line.
Warning: If the fuel line tube sealing ring is damaged, it must be replaced.
8. Using a 5 mm Allen key, unscrew the two bolts securing the fuel rail to the cylinder head.
9. Remove the fuel rail assembly with injectors from under the intake module.
Installation
We install the fuel rail in the reverse order.
Recommendation. Check the condition of the intake module sealing rings; replace damaged rings (see "Intake module - removal and installation").
