Removing
1. We prepare the car for work (see «Preparing the car for maintenance and repair»).
2. Relieve fuel pressure (see «Fuel Line - Pressure Relief»).
After depressurizing, a small amount of fuel remains in the fuel line.
3. Turn off the nuts and bolts of the intake module and mix it as far forward as possible (see «Inlet module - removal and installation»).
4. Disconnect the injector wiring harness pads.
5. With a 17 mm open-end wrench, unscrew the fitting of the fuel pipe from the rail, holding the hex end of the fuel rail with a wrench of the same size.
6. Using a Phillips screwdriver, unscrew the screw securing the fuel pipe to the cylinder head.
7. Remove the end of the fuel line tube from the fuel rail. Remove the sealing rubber ring from the fuel pipe.
Warning! If the fuel pipe O-ring is damaged, it must be replaced.
8. With a 5 mm hex wrench, unscrew the two bolts securing the fuel rail to the cylinder head.
9. We remove the fuel rail assembly with injectors from under the intake module.
Installation
Install the fuel rail in reverse order.
Recommendation. Check the condition of the O-rings of the inlet module, replace damaged O-rings (see «Inlet module - removal and installation»).
