2. Leakage (burnout) of the valves of the gas distribution mechanism (see "Cylinder head - checking and grinding valves").

3. Incorrect installation of valve timing (see "Timing Belt - Replacement" or "Timing Belt for 1.6i Engine — Replacement").

4. The ignition system is faulty (see "Checking the technical condition of the engine management system").

5. The engine power supply system is faulty (see "Checking the technical condition of the power supply system").

6. The air filter is clogged (see "Air filter - replacing the filter element").

7. Jamming of the working cylinders of the brake mechanisms (see "Checking the technical condition of the brake system").
