Removal
1. Remove the caliper (see "Front Brake Caliper - Removal and Installation").
2. Secure the caliper in a vice and unscrew the guide pin bolts (see "Front brake pads - replacement").
3. Using a TORX E14 socket wrench, unscrew the two bolts securing the cylinder body to the movable bracket.

4. Remove the brake cylinder.
Installation
1. Install the new cylinder in reverse order.
2. After installing the caliper assembly on the vehicle and connecting the hose to it, remove air from the hydraulic drive of the brake system (see "Hydraulic brake drive - bleeding").
3. Make sure there are no fluid leaks from the new brake cylinder, the bleed nipple, or the connection between the cylinder and the brake hose.
