Removing
1. Remove the caliper (see «Front brake caliper - removal and installation»).
2. We fix the caliper in a vice and unscrew the bolts of the guide pins (see «Front brake pads - replacement»).
3. Using a TORX E14 socket wrench, we unscrew the two bolts securing the cylinder body to the movable bracket.
4. Remove the brake cylinder.
Installation
1. Install the new cylinder in reverse order.
2. After installing the caliper assembly on the car and connecting the hose to it, we remove air from the hydraulic brake system (see «Hydraulic brake drive - pumping»).
3. We make sure that there are no fluid leaks from the new brake cylinder, the bleeder fitting and the connection of the cylinder to the brake hose.
