1. Remove the cap from the expansion tank. Unscrew the drain plug at the bottom of the right radiator tank and drain the coolant from it (see "Replacing the coolant"). Screw the drain plug back onto the radiator.
2. Loosen the clamp securing the steam outlet hose...
3. ...and remove the steam outlet hose from the expansion tank fitting.
4. Similarly, disconnect the liquid hose from the expansion tank.

5. Unscrew one nut, unscrew two mounting bolts and remove the expansion tank. 6. Drain the remaining coolant from the expansion tank.
7. Install the expansion tank on the vehicle in the reverse order of removal.
8. Fill the engine cooling system with cooling liquid (see "Replacing the coolant"). Tighten the expansion tank cap, start the car engine, check for coolant leaks through the expansion tank hose connections and warm up the engine at idle speed to operating temperature to remove air locks from the system.
