Removing
1. Partially drain the coolant (see from 79, «Coolant - replacement»).
2. Disconnect the terminal from the negative, and then from the positive terminal of the battery («Battery - removal and installation») and take the wiring harness forward.
3. Disconnect the holder of the wiring harness 1 from the body. We loosen two clamps 2 with an 8 mm socket wrench and disconnect two hoses from the pipes of the expansion tank.
4. With a 10 mm socket wrench, unscrew the nut 1 of the rear fastening of the expansion tank, and with an 8 mm wrench, unscrew the bolt 2 of the lower fastening of the tank.
5. Using a 10 mm wrench, unscrew the nut of the front fastening of the tank.
6. Remove the expansion tank and remove it.
Installation
1. Install the tank in reverse order.
2. Fill the engine cooling system with liquid through the expansion tank (see 79, «Coolant - replacement»), after which we make sure that there is no leakage of liquid at the joints. Tighten the hose clamps if necessary.
3. We start the engine and let it run for several minutes at a crankshaft speed of 2000-3000 rpm to remove air from the cooling system.
4. Turn off the engine and check the coolant level in the expansion tank. If necessary, bring the level of liquid in the tank to normal.
