Coolant Pump — Replacement (Granta 2190)

Removal

1. Drain the coolant ("Coolant - Replacement").

2. Remove the rear timing belt cover ("Timing Belt - Replacement").

3. Using a 5 mm Allen key, unscrew the three bolts securing the coolant pump.



4. If necessary, using a screwdriver, remove the pump and gasket from the cylinder block.

Installation

We install the cooling pump in the reverse order, replacing the pump gasket with a new one.

Note: Pumps with rubber sealing ring may be supplied as spare parts. No gasket is installed under such pumps.
