1. Unfold the rear seat on the appropriate side (see «Folding the rear seat»).
2. Use a screwdriver to pry off the rubber plug and remove it from the installation site.
3. Turn away a nut of the top fastening of a back shock-absorber.
4. Raise the rear of the vehicle and remove the rear shock absorber bottom nut. Remove the bolt.
5. Remove the lower end of the shock absorber from the bracket and remove the rear shock absorber with the spring.
6. Remove the insulating gasket of the rear suspension spring in the wheel well.
7. From inside salon take out a basic washer.
8. Take out the top pillow of the shock-absorber from an aperture in a support.
9. Remove the spring from the shock absorber.
10. Remove the sleeve and lower cushion from the rear shock absorber rod.
11. Remove the boot from the rear shock absorber and remove the compression stroke buffer from the boot.
12. Replace the defective rear shock absorber lower mounting silent block.
13. Replace torn or loose cushions.
14. Replace the torn shock absorber boot. When replacing the anther, remove the cover from it.
15. Replace broken or damaged compression stroke buffer.
16. Replace the torn or loose insulating gasket.
17. Replace the shock absorber spring if cracks are found on it or coils are deformed.
18. Install the insulating gasket on the shock absorber spring first so that the end of the spring rests on the protrusion of the gasket. Attach the spacer to the spring with duct tape so that it does not come off when the shock spring is installed.
19. Install the spring on the shock absorber so that its end rests on the protrusion of the lower cup.
20. Establish on the car the back shock-absorber in an order, the return to removal. The lower end of the shock spring must face the wheel on both the left and right shock absorbers.
21. Nuts of the top and bottom fastenings of the shock-absorber finally tighten on the car standing on the earth. After lowering the car to the ground, rock it hard several times. Tighten the nut of the lower mounting of the shock absorber to the beam with a torque of 68-84 Nm (6.8-8.4 kgf·m), a nut of the upper fastening of the shock absorber with a torque of 51-63 Nm (5.1-6.3 kgf·m). After 100 km run once again tighten these carving connections the demanded moments.
