The oil level indicator (dipstick) is located in the middle of the cylinder block behind the cooling system radiator.
Attention! Check the engine oil level by placing the Lada Kalina on a flat horizontal surface. Before checking the oil level after a ride, turn off the engine and wait 5-10 minutes for the oil to drain into the pan.
Top up the engine with oil of the same brand that was used previously. The oil level in the engine crankcase should not be higher than the "MAX" mark, otherwise leaks through gaskets and seals, as well as increased oil consumption, are possible. 1. Remove the engine oil level indicator (dipstick), wipe it with a clean cloth and reinsert it.
2. Remove the engine oil level indicator (dipstick). The oil film level should be between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks. If the oil level is close to or below the "MIN" mark, add oil to the engine.
3. Turn the oil filler cap 90° counterclockwise and remove it.
4. Place a funnel in the filler neck and pour oil into the engine, monitoring the oil level using the indicator (dipstick). Before removing the engine oil level indicator (dipstick), wait 2-3 minutes to allow the oil to drain into the crankcase. The oil level should not exceed the "MAX" mark.
5. Once the engine oil level reaches the required level, replace the filler cap.
