Note: The type of engine oil to be used is given in Appendix 2.
Caution: Before checking the oil level after driving, turn off the engine and wait 3-5 minutes until the oil drains into the pan.
Attention! Top up with oil of the same brand, viscosity and quality class as the one used previously.
Attention! The oil level in the engine crankcase should not exceed the upper mark on the indicator (dipstick), otherwise leaks through the gaskets and seals are possible, which will cause increased oil consumption.
Attention! Check the oil level with the vehicle parked on a level, horizontal surface.
The oil filler plug is located on the front left side of the cylinder head cover. The oil level indicator (dipstick) is located in the front center of the engine.
1. Remove the pointer (feeler)…
2. …wipe it with a clean cloth and put it back in place.
3. Remove the dipstick again. The oil film level should be between the upper and lower marks. If the oil level is at or below the lower mark, add oil.
4. To add oil, unscrew the oil filler cap.
5. Fill the engine with oil, monitoring the oil level with the dipstick. Before removing the pointer, wait 3-5 minutes to allow the oil to drain into the crankcase.
6. Once the oil level reaches the required level, tighten the filler cap.
