Note: Use transmission oils recommended by the manufacturer for the gearbox (see appendix 2).

1. Remove the pointer (feeler)…

2. …wipe it with a clean cloth and put it back in place.

3. Remove the pointer again. The oil film level should be between the upper and lower marks. If the oil level is at or below the lower mark...

4. ... insert the syringe into the hole for the pointer (dipstick) and fill up the required amount of oil, monitoring its level with the pointer.
Note: Fill the gearbox with oil up to the upper mark on the indicator. This will provide better operating conditions for the fifth gear bearing, which is located high in the crankcase and is lubricated only by splash.
Note: To fill the gearbox with oil, it is convenient to use a funnel with a rubber hose of a suitable diameter.
5. Insert the pointer into the gearbox housing hole until it stops.
