Check the tightness by external inspection:
- from below the car (on a lift or inspection ditch);
- inside the car;
- above from under the hood.
1. Inspect the fuel line connections to the fine fuel filter..
2....air outlet hose connections..
3.... filler hose and steam pipe.
4. Check the fastening of the pipelines..
5.... and steam pipes in holders. Loose or broken holders lead to vibration and, as a result, to breakage of pipelines. Replace damaged fuel lines if cracked, frayed, or leaking fuel is found. Replace damaged fasteners.
6. Remove the hatch of the fuel pump module and check the tightness of the connections marked with arrows. If fuel leaks are found, replace the hose end o-rings.
7. Inspect the engine compartment on both sides of the connection points of the flexible hose with the fuel lines..
8.... and fuel lines with a fuel rail.
9. Check the tightness of the Schrader valve to measure the pressure in the fuel rail. If fuel leakage is detected, replace the spool in the valve.
