Replacement of the control unit for external lighting and instruments (Kalina 1118)

To replace the exterior lighting and instrument lighting control unit on your vehicle, you will need a flat-blade screwdriver.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.



2. Pry off the cover of the mounting block from the left and right sides...



3. ...and lower the mounting block cover down.



4. Disconnect the wire connector from the exterior lighting and instrument lighting control unit and remove the mounting block cover from the instrument panel.





5. Bend the four plastic tabs (in the photo, the locations of the latches are shown by arrows) and remove the exterior lighting and instrument lighting control unit from the mounting block cover.

6. Install the exterior lighting and instrument lighting control unit on the vehicle in the reverse order of removal.
