Removal and installation the interior lighting unit (Kalina 1118)

The interior lighting unit is removed to replace the light switches and to gain access to the antenna mount.

To remove and install the interior lighting unit on a car, you will need: flat-head and Phillips-head screwdrivers.

1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.



2. Press the plastic latch on the interior light unit cover and remove the cover.



3. Remove the two mounting screws and remove the interior light housing from the mounting hole, disconnecting the rear wiring harness connector.



4. Disconnect the terminals with wires from the terminals of the faulty switch...





5. ...and, overcoming the resistance of the plastic clamps...



6. ... remove the switch from the interior lighting unit housing.

7. Assemble and install the interior lighting unit in the reverse order of removal.
