Recommendation. The check should be carried out 10-15 minutes after the engine has been stopped.
Sequence of execution
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the oil level indicator from the guide tube.
3. Wipe the indicator with a rag, removing oil from it, and then insert it into the tube until it stops.
4. Remove the pointer. The oil level should be within the notch on the end of the indicator.
Recommendation. If the level is below the permissible level, add oil (see below, "Engine Oil and Oil Filter - Replacement").

5. After completing the check, install the indicator back in place.
