Removal
1. Remove the door trim (see "Tailgate Trim - Removal and Installation").
2. Disconnect the rod from the lock switch (see page above, "Switch (cylinder) of the lock - removal and installation").
3. Disconnect the wiring block from the lock.
4. Using a Phillips-head impact screwdriver, loosen the two lock mounting screws.
5. After unscrewing the screws, remove the outer and inner parts of the lock.
6. If necessary, use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the screw.
7. Remove the cover from the outside of the lock and take out the switch with wires.

Installation
We assemble and install the lock in the reverse order.
Adjustment
1. Using a Phillips-head impact screwdriver, loosen the two screws securing the lock retainer.
2. By moving the lock to the right or left, we ensure that its arc enters the slot of the lock (this can be conveniently done from the passenger compartment by folding the rear seat). By moving the latch forward or backward, we achieve that the door closes tightly with light pressure.
3. After completing the adjustment, tighten the retainer mounting screws.
