Rear glass — replacement (Kalina 1119)

The rear window of the car is glued to the frame of the trunk door. The glass can be replaced without removing the door from the car.

An assistant will be needed to complete the job.

Sequence of execution

1. Remove the door trim (see "Tailgate Trim - Removal and Installation").

2. Disconnect the wire ends from the terminals of the rear window heating element.



3. Remove the additional brake light (see "Additional brake light - removal and installation").

4. Remove the door frame trim.

Note: Before gluing the glass, it is necessary to install the door trim.

5. We replace the glass in the same way as replacing the windshield (see "Windshield - Replacement").

6. After the adhesive sealant has polymerized, connect the wires to the heating element, glue the brake light and install the door trim.
