Caution: Before connecting the external battery, make sure the ignition is off. Turn off all electrical consumers (headlights, car radio, windshield wipers, etc.).
Starting the engine from external sources (Kalina 1118)
If you need to start the engine and the battery is discharged, connect (strictly in the specified sequence) using a special wire, connect the positive terminal of the discharged battery to the positive terminal of the external battery. Use the second wire to connect the negative terminal of the external battery to the vehicle's ground (preferably at the point closest to the starter). Disconnect the wires strictly in reverse order.
