Removal and installation the inner tie rod end (Kalina 1118)

To remove and install the inner tie rod end on a car, you will need: a flat-blade screwdriver, 10, 13, and 15 mm wrenches.

1. Disconnect the wires from the battery terminals and remove the battery (see "Removal and installation the battery").

2. Remove the outer tie rod end (see "Removal and installation the outer tie rod end and replacing the ball joint boot").



3. Pry the locking plate off the steering linkage bolt heads.



4. Loosen both steering linkage bolts...



5. ...unscrew the bolt of the rod to be removed and remove the rod through the hole in the wheel arch mudguard.



6. Install the steering linkage on the vehicle in the reverse order of removal.
