1. Remove both front wheels.
2. Having set the steering wheel in the position of the rectilinear movement of the car, unscrew from inside the passenger compartment the bolt of the clamp securing the cardan shaft to the shaft of the drive gear of the steering mechanism (see «Removal and installation of a cardan shaft of a steering»).
3. Disconnect both tie rods from the swing arms (see «Removal and installation of the outer tip of the steering rod and replacement of the protective cover of the ball joint»).
4. Disconnect the steering rods from the steering gear (see «Removal and installation of an internal tip of steering draft») and remove the plates.
5. Turn away on two nuts of fastening of the steering mechanism from both parties.
6. Remove the steering gear clamps from the studs and remove the steering gear with rods through the hole in the left wheel well.
7. Cut off the plastic tie...
8.... and remove the protective cap of the steering rack (perform a similar operation on the reverse side of the steering rack).
9. Remove the rubber pads of the steering rack clamps.
10. Cut off the two plastic ties securing the rack cover to the crankcase..
11.... and remove the rack cover from the steering gear housing.
12. Assemble and install the steering gear in reverse order. In this case, the rail should be in the middle position (in the straight ahead position), i.e. the marks on the anther and crankcase must match, and the flat on the gear shaft must be on the right. If the gear turns, then slide the rack in any one direction until it stops. Then move the rack to the other side one full turn of the mark on the boot and bring the mark to coincide with the mark on the mechanism case. After completing all installation work, check and, if necessary, adjust the wheel alignment.
