3. Mark the position of the universal joint on the power steering shaft…
4. …unscrew the nut of the universal joint clamp bolt and remove the bolt from the clamp.
5. Remove the cardan shaft from the joint…
6. …and slide the joint off the splined shaft of the electromechanical amplifier.
7. Mark the position of the drive shaft on the drive pinion…
8. …unscrew the nut…
9. …and remove the bolt from the mounting clamp.
10. Spread the clamp with a screwdriver…
11. …and remove the propeller shaft from the steering gear drive pinion.
Note: This is what cardan joint 1 and cardan shaft 2 with the joint look like.
12. Install the propeller shaft in the reverse order of removal.
