Warning! Do not touch the halogen lamp bulbs with your fingers. Work in clean cotton gloves without rubber coating. Greasy fingerprints left on the lamp bulb will reduce its service life several times. If you accidentally touch the bulb with your fingers, wipe the bulb with a clean cloth soaked in alcohol.
High beam lamp
Sequence of execution
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair"). Turn off the outside lighting.
2. Remove the rubber plug from the high beam section.
3. Remove the wire connector from the lamp terminal.
4. Release the retainer by removing the ends of the spring retainer from the grooves.
5. Remove the faulty lamp.
6. Install the new lamp in reverse order.
Side light bulb
Sequence of execution
1. Remove the rubber plug from the high beam section (see above). Turn off the exterior lighting.
2. Without disconnecting the wires, remove the side light bulb socket from the reflector.
3. Remove the faulty lamp from the socket.
4. Insert the new lamp into the socket and install the socket into the reflector.
5. Put the rubber plug on the headlight.
Low beam lamp
Note: The lamps are difficult to access, so some operations will have to be performed by touch. To make it easier to access the left headlight, you can remove the air filter housing, and to access the right headlight, you can remove the windshield washer reservoir.
Sequence of execution
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair"). Turn off the outside lighting.
2. Remove the rubber plug from the low beam section.
3. Remove the wire connector from the lamp terminal.
4. Release the retainer by removing the ends of the spring retainer from the grooves.
5. Remove the faulty lamp.
6. Install the new lamp in reverse order.
Turn signal lamp
Sequence of execution
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair"). When replacing the right turn signal, remove the windshield washer reservoir (see "Windscreen washer reservoir - removal and installation").
2. Turn the turn signal bulb socket counterclockwise and remove the socket together with the bulb from the indicator housing.
3. Slightly push the faulty lamp into the socket and, turning it counterclockwise, remove it from the socket.
4. Replace the faulty lamp.
5. Install the socket with the lamp into the indicator and turn it clockwise until it locks.
