Replacing the hood lock release rod and handle (Kalina 1118)

To replace the traction and hood release handle on your car, you will need a 13 mm key.

1. Remove the mudguard liner (see "Removal and installation the mudguard").



2. Remove the hood lock rod housing tip from the bracket on the body, and then...



3. ...disengage the end of the lock drive rod from engagement with the lock spring.



4. Remove the hood release handle mounting bolt...





5. ... remove it together with the washer from the handle and remove the hood opening handle.

6. Install the hood lock drives in the reverse order of removal.
