Note: There is an adjustment screw on the horn body, by rotating which you can adjust the sound of the horn. It is more convenient to perform adjustments with an assistant.
Removal
1. Remove the front bumper grille (see "Front bumper - removal and installation").
2. Using a 13 mm open-end wrench, unscrew the horn plate mounting nut.
3. Remove the horn from under the bumper and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the horn.
Recommendation. There is an adjustment screw on the inside of the horn. You can apply voltage from the battery to the terminals of the horn and use a thin-bladed slotted screwdriver to adjust the sound of the horn. If the sound is hoarse and weak, and you cannot achieve an acceptable sound by turning the adjustment screw, the horn must be replaced.
Installation
We install the sound signal in the reverse order.
After installation, we check the operation of the sound signal.
