The immobilizer is built into the glass unit control unit. The system consists of a control unit, a control lamp in the instrument cluster, a communication coil in the ignition switch, a working key in the remote control and a learning key with a red mark. The operating modes of the immobilizer are displayed by turning on the alarm and by signals from the buzzer built into it.
The immobilizer control unit and engine ECU can be in one of two states:
- 1 state - immobilization function is disabled. In this state, the immobilizer control unit is switched off, there is no communication between it and the ECU, and engine blocking is impossible;
- 2 state - immobilization function is on (learned state). In this state, the engine can be blocked; unlocking is performed by the ECU receiving the correct password from the immobilizer control unit.
The ECU and immobilizer enter the trained state after training the working keys using the training key. At the end of the training procedure, both blocks enter the trained state.
Attention! In order not to lose the training key (with red insert), use only working keys to start the engine.
