Note: The suspension cushions of the main and additional mufflers are interchangeable. They can be replaced in any order.
To carry out the work, you will need an inspection pit or overpass.
Sequence of execution
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
Caution! To avoid burns, work should be performed after the exhaust system parts have cooled to a safe temperature.
2. Disconnect the rear suspension cushion of the main muffler from the bracket.
3. Using pliers, bend back the bent ends of the body bracket.
4. Using a screwdriver, remove the muffler suspension cushion from the bracket.
5. Install the new suspension cushion in the reverse order. We bend the bent bracket antenna, fixing the pillow from slipping.
6. Remove the front suspension cushion of the main muffler (first from the muffler bracket, then from the body bracket).
7. Similarly, we replace the other two additional muffler suspension cushions.
