To carry out the work, you will need an inspection pit or overpass.
Sequence of execution
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
Caution! To avoid burns, work should be performed after the exhaust system parts have cooled to a safe temperature.
2. Using a knife, cut off the faulty exhaust system suspension cushion.
Recommendation. If the cushions are in good condition, then, for example, when replacing the muffler, they can be carefully removed from the brackets for reuse.
Recommendation. To make the next operation easier, the mounting holes of the cushions can be wiped with silicone grease or soapy water.
3. Place the new cushion on the brackets.
4. Similarly, we replace other suspension cushions of the exhaust system.
