Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
Caution! To avoid burns, work should be performed after the exhaust system parts have cooled to a safe temperature.
2. Treat all threaded connections with penetrating lubricant.

3. Using a 13 mm open-end wrench, loosen the nuts on the two clamp bolts of the main muffler clamp, holding the bolts with an open-end wrench of the same size.

4. Remove the clamp and take out the metal sealing ring.

5. Using a mounting blade, remove the cushions from the front muffler bracket (see "Exhaust System Suspension - Replacement of Cushions").

6. Similarly, remove the cushion from the rear bracket.

7. Remove the muffler from the opening between the bottom of the body and the rear axle beam.
Installation
We install the muffler in the reverse order. If necessary, replace damaged or loose muffler suspension cushions (see "Exhaust System Suspension - Replacement of Cushions").
