The exhaust system consists of an exhaust manifold, a front pipe, a main and an additional muffler and is equipped with a catalytic converter.
The connection between the exhaust manifold and the head of the block is sealed with a gasket. The exhaust manifold of the engine is steel. The catalytic converter is combined with the exhaust manifold into a single non-separable unit - the catalytic manifold (collector). This reduces the catalyst warm-up time to operating temperature and increases its efficiency. Two oxygen concentration sensors are installed in the catalytic manifold - before and after the converter. The connection between the catalytic manifold and the exhaust pipe is sealed with a heat-resistant gasket. To reduce the transmission of vibrations to the body and reduce the load on the system during vibrations of the power unit, the connection of the exhaust pipe with an additional silencer is made through a vibration-isolating coupling (see fig.).
The connection of the main and additional mufflers is rigid, with a steel sealing ring. A heat-protective metal screen is attached to the body above the additional muffler.
The exhaust system is suspended from the body brackets on four rubber rings - pillows. The suspension pads of the additional silencer and the front suspension of the main silencer are interchangeable. The main muffler suspension cushion is reinforced.
