1. No fuel in the tank (pour fuel into the tank).
2. The crankshaft does not turn fast enough to start the engine due to a low battery charge (see «Battery - Maintenance»).
3. Insufficiently tightened or oxidized terminals on the terminals of the battery (see «Battery - Maintenance»).
4. Leakage of parts of the power system, faulty fuel module or fuel pressure regulator (see «Supply system»).
5. Broken timing belt (see «1.6i engine timing belt - checking condition and adjusting tension»).
6. Faulty engine management system (see «Checking the technical condition of the engine management system»).
7. Faulty ignition coil circuit (see «Ignition coils - check and replacement» or «Engine ignition coil 1.6i - check and replacement»).
