To disassemble and assemble the instrument panel on your car, you will need: flat-head and Phillips-head screwdrivers.
1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Remove the radio runners from the mounting hole...

3. ...disconnect the wiring harness connectors and the antenna connector from it.

4. Remove the recirculation flap control lever handle.

5. Remove the air supply distribution and incoming air temperature adjustment handles.

6. Remove the left and right plugs...

7. ...unscrew the two screws of the lower lining mounting...

8. ...and, overcoming the resistance of the latches located at the top of the instrument panel console trim, move it to the side.

9. Disconnect the wiring harness connectors from the rear window defroster switch, the heater electric fan mode switch, the hazard warning switch, and the handle illumination lamp sockets...

10. ...and remove the cover.
11. Install the instrument panel console trim in the reverse order of removal.
Heater control lever block it is removed for its replacement and for the replacement of the drive rods.
To remove the heater control lever assembly, you will need: flat-head and Phillips-head screwdrivers.
1. Remove the instrument panel console trim (see above).

2. Remove the four screws (shown in the photo by arrows) fastening the heater control lever block to the instrument panel.

3. Remove the heater control cable sheath retainers...

4. ...disengage the cables from the drive mechanisms.
Helpful advice. Mark the location of the cables on the heater control lever block so that during assembly you can install the rods in their original places.

5. Remove the heater control lever assembly.
6. Install the heater control lever unit on the vehicle in the reverse order of removal.
