Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the instrument panel assembly with the heater (see p. 202, "Instrument panel - removal and installation").
3. Disconnect the wiring block from the additional resistor (see "Additional resistor - removal and installation").
4. Unscrew the two screws securing the heater to the brackets of the instrument panel reinforcement beam.
5. Remove the heater electric fan casing from the instrument panel.
6. Disconnect the ventilation hose 1 from the fan electric motor and use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the three screws 2 securing the electric fan to the casing.
7. Remove the electric fan from the casing.
Installation
We install the electric fan in the reverse order.
