To carry out the work, you will need an inspection pit or overpass.
Note: The mudguard is not heavy, so if necessary, the work can be done without an assistant. In this case, it is more convenient to use a stand that is height-adjustable.
Sequence of execution
1. Place the vehicle on an inspection ditch or overpass (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Using a 10 mm socket wrench, loosen the 13 bolts securing the engine mudguard.

3. Install the stand under the mudguard (or an assistant supports the mudguard).
4. Unscrew the mounting bolts (when unscrewing the last bolts, an assistant supports the mudguard from falling).
5. Remove the engine splash guard.
6. Install the engine mudguard in the reverse order.
