Gear shift indicator function (Granta 2190)

Gear Shift Advisor (GSA) is a function that determines the need to shift to a higher or lower gear (to ensure the most economical engine operating mode) and informing the driver about it.



The function is only applicable to vehicles with a manual transmission (MT).

LCD readings in the "normal" configuration

Turn on/off the sound prompt for gear shifting

On / off of the sound alarm is performed by pressing "BC-Reset" or "OK" (in a variant design) on the steering column switch. The LCD of the instrument cluster in the on-board computer line displays the status indicator of the audio prompt for gear shifting.

Information displayed on the LCD:

• "GSI 0" - gear shift sound prompt is off;
• "GSII" - gear shift sound prompt is on.
