- the top line displays the current time or (in a variant design) gear shift prompt indication mode, as well as automatic transmission operation indication mode;
- the middle line displays the total or daily mileage, as desired;
- bottom line (in a variant design) displays outside air temperature or trip computer functions.
The graphic display shows the fuel level. The low fuel indicator and buzzer sound indicate the need to refuel to avoid engine interruptions or stalling.
Caution: Never allow the fuel to run out completely. This may lead to an emergency situation on the road due to the unexpected stop of your car for other road users.

If in the "CC or OS" function selection mode none of the steering column switch buttons is pressed for 3 seconds, the indicator switches to mode 5) or 6). For a description of "Navigation", see the "Multimedia" section of the operating manual.
