Outdoor light switch
outdoor light switch (PNO) 1 (pic. 31a) has three fixed positions (or four in the variant):
- - when the engine is off, the exterior lighting is off, when the engine is on, the daytime running lights are on (DRL);
- - side lights are on, combined with DRL;
- - side lights and dipped or high beam headlights are on, depending on the position of the light signaling switch;
- — in this variant, the side lights and dipped beam headlights turn on and off automatically depending on the state of the external lighting. The light sensor is combined with the rain sensor and is located on the windshield behind the rear-view mirror.
Automatic external lighting control system (lighting system) allows you to turn on and off the parking lights and dipped beam headlights of the car, depending on the level of ambient light. For example, at dusk, as well as at the entrance to a tunnel or garage.
The lighting system only works when the ignition is on. It must be remembered that when the lighting system is operating, the high beam headlights do not turn on for a long time. To turn on the high beam headlights for a long time, you must first turn the PNO switch to the position «dipped headlights».
Warning! The inclusion of external lighting by the automatic control system does not relieve the driver of responsibility for compliance with safety requirements and traffic rules.
Headlight range control switch
Before starting the operation of the car with the dipped beam on, make sure that the position of the handle 3 of the hydraulic dipped beam corrector is correct from the vehicle loading state.
Positions of the handle of the hydraulic headlight range control (pic. 31b) Depending on the vehicle loading state:
- 0 - driver or driver + front passenger;
- 1 - driver + 4 passengers or driver + cargo in the luggage compartment;
- 2 - driver + 4 passengers + cargo in the luggage compartment.
If necessary, correct the inclination of the dipped beam of the headlights by turning knob 3 to align the label of the knob with one of the labels on the scale corresponding to the state of vehicle loading.
When the hydrocorrector handle is set to a position outside the scale markings, asynchronous inclination of the dipped beam beam of the right and left block headlights is possible, which is not a defect.
Warning!
- Properly adjusting the beam angle of the headlights reduces glare to oncoming drivers.
- To avoid insufficient illumination of the roadway, do not set the handle to the extreme position counterclockwise.

Front fog light switch (in a variant)

In the variant version, the vehicle has the function «Light path». With the ignition off, open the driver's door. Turn on the high beam by holding the light signal switch lever in the non-fixed position, after releasing the lever, the low beam headlights will turn on for 40 seconds. After 40 seconds, the low beam headlights will turn off.
When enabled «Light path» deactivation is possible by turning on the high beam again by holding the light signaling switch lever in the non-fixed position or by turning on the ignition switch if the function time has not expired.
