In the variant version, the trunk lid/tailgate is unlocked using a button on the remote control or from the passenger compartment using a switch located on the left side of the instrument panel (figure 26a) under the lighting control module. For the correct operation of the "button-lock" system in the "standard" and "norm" trim levels, the duration of pressing the button for opening the trunk lid/tailgate from the passenger compartment must be at least 1-2 seconds.
When the trunk lid/tailgate is open and the exterior lighting is on, the luggage compartment is illuminated by a lamp.
The variant includes an internal handle for closing the trunk lid (figure 26b), shown by the arrow. To close the trunk lid from position A, grasp the inner handle and pull the trunk lid down to position B. Then release the inner handle and continue closing the trunk lid by pressing its outer handle (horizontal) part.
When closing the tailgate 1 (see figure 25b) use special internal handles 2.

Warning!
- The trunk lid/tailgate is a source of increased injury risk. Therefore, be extremely careful when closing, especially if there are children nearby.
- To avoid injury when closing the trunk lid in position B, release the inside handle and remove your hand from the path of the trunk lid.
Warning! Do not use the key as a handle to open and close the trunk lid/tailgate - this may cause the key to break.
