Safe placement of children in the car is possible only when using child restraints that comply with the requirements of the European standard ECE R44.
When choosing a child restraint system, you must be guided by the information given in table 1 «Child restraint installation diagram».
The child restraint must be installed and used in accordance with the child restraint manufacturer's instructions.
Warnings!
- 1. It is forbidden to use a rearward facing child restraint in the right front seat protected by an active airbag.
- 2. It is forbidden to keep a child on your lap while the car is moving.
- 3. It is safest to transport children under the age of 12 in the back seat using child restraints appropriate for the age and weight of the child.
- 4. Before installing a child restraint in the rear middle passenger seat (for model 2191) the seat belt of the rear middle passenger must be in the position where the lower tongue is inserted into the mini-lock (pic. 14c), then follow the recommendations of the child restraint manufacturer.
- U: the place is suitable for installation «universal» rearward facing child restraint approved for this weight class.
- UF: place suitable for «universal» a forward-facing child restraint approved for this weight category.
- X - the place is not suitable for installing a child restraint.
Installing ISOFIX child restraints
Your vehicle is optionally equipped with rear seat ISOFIX anchorage systems that allow the installation of ISOFIX child restraints that comply with the European standard ECE R44 (for children weighing no more than 18 kg).
The ISOFIX attachment system includes two lower ISOFIX brackets and an ISOFIX top tether bracket.
The ISOFIX lower brackets, to which the appropriate ISOFIX child restraint anchors attach, are located at the base of the rear seatback. Their locations are marked on the back with round pictograms . Before attaching the ISOFIX child restraint anchors, the ISOFIX lower brackets must be cleared by placing the rear seat belt buckles at the junction of the rear seat cushion and backrest.
Bracket for ISOFIX top tether, marked and , located on the rear shelf behind the corresponding seat (for model 2190) or at the bottom of the back of the rear seat on the side of the luggage compartment (for model 2191). After attaching the ISOFIX top tether, adjust its tension according to the ISOFIX child restraint manufacturer's instructions.

- IL: location suitable for installation «semi-universal» ISOFIX child restraint in this size class.
- * Installing an ISOFIX child restraint in the center seat of a one-piece rear seat will prevent the installation of ISOFIX child restraints in the side seats.
- ** As of publication date, the recommended child seat for this ISOFIX size class is «Britax Romer Baby Safe».
Warning!
- When installing the ISOFIX child restraint, make sure that the anchors integrated in the ISOFIX child restraint do not damage the webbing of the rear seat belts.
- The ISOFIX child restraint must be used in accordance with the ISOFIX child restraint manufacturer's instructions.
