To access the engine compartment, pull the handle towards you (figure 22), located on the left side of the instrument panel under the lighting control module (see figure 28), lift the hood and through the resulting gap, press the safety hook tab to the right (figure 23). Raise the hood and install the support 1 (figure 24) into a special socket in the hood, as shown in the figure. For ease of fixation, it is not recommended to move the hood too far (more than 10 centimeters) from the upper end of the exposed stop 1.

Freely close the hood from a height of no more than 25 centimeters between the edge of the hood and the upper crossbar of the radiator frame. When closing the hood, check the reliability of the lock: a characteristic click should be heard at the moment of locking.

Warning! The hood is a source of increased injury risk. Therefore, be extremely careful when closing, especially if there are children nearby.

Attention!
  • Before closing the bonnet, make sure that stop 1 is set to the park position and is fixed in holder 2.
  • To avoid damage, do not operate the windshield wiper with the hood open.
  • Before closing the hood, to avoid metal deformation and paint chipping, make sure the holder is securely fixed.
