Adjusting the operation of front and rear door locks, hood, tailgate



The doors, hood and tailgate should open and close easily without much force and should lock in the open position. Spontaneous opening of doors, hood and tailgate is not permitted.

Adjusting the operation of the side door locks (figures 11 and 12) to produce by moving the retainer relative to the body pillar (torx T40 replacement bit, ratchet).

Unscrew and then screw in the fuel tank filler cap (figure 15). The plug must be securely fixed in the closed position; damage to the sealing element of the plug is not allowed

Operation of the electric door locks.



Locking of door locks and activation of the security mode must be performed by pressing the lock button on the remote control (RC), which should be confirmed by double flashing of the direction indicators and switching on of the switch button backlight door locks on the instrument panel switch block. If any door, hood or trunk is open when the security mode is activated, the doors will be locked and subsequently unlocked and the security mode will not be activated. After closing the open area and pressing the lock button again on the remote control, the system will lock the doors and activate the security mode.

Unlocking the door locks and disabling the security mode must be done by pressing the unlock button on the remote control, which is confirmed by a single flashing of the direction indicators.

The tailgate should be opened with the remote control only when the ignition is off by pressing the button remote control. When the security mode is on, the opening of the tailgate should occur simultaneously with the deactivation of the security mode, which should be accompanied by a single flashing of the direction indicators. After closing the tailgate, to activate the security mode, you must press the lock button on the remote control.

Remote disabling of the alarm system must be accomplished by pressing the unlock button on the remote control. At the same time, the security mode is turned off and the doors are unlocked.

All interior door locks should be locked when the button is pressed on the instrument panel and unlocked when the button is pressed again.

The driver's door lock should lock from the outside of the vehicle when the key is turned clockwise in the lock and unlock when the key is turned counterclockwise.



When the ignition is on and the vehicle is moving at a speed of more than 10 km/h, all side doors should automatically lock.

When the ignition is turned off, the locks of all side doors should be unlocked if the locking was performed automatically based on the vehicle speed.

When the lever on the rear side door is moved down (figure 16), the door must not be able to be opened from inside the car ("child lock").
