Removal
1. Prepare the vehicle for work and install it on an inspection ditch or overpass (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Disconnect the wire terminal from the negative terminal of the battery (see "Battery - Removal and Installation").
3. Remove the auxiliary drive belt from the generator pulley (see "Accessory Drive Belt - Checking and Replacing").
4. Remove the engine splash guard (see "Engine Mudguard - Removal and Installation").
5. Press the lock and disconnect the wire block from the generator.

6. Using a 13 mm wrench, unscrew the fastening nut and remove the wire tip from the generator terminal.

7. Using a 10 mm wrench, unscrew the two bolts of the lower...

...and two top mounting bolts.

8. Remove the generator.
Installation
We install the generator in the reverse order.
