Recommendation. Car batteries are produced in several types, differing in overall dimensions, as well as the location and polarity of the terminals. If you need to replace the battery, pay attention to this, as well as to the way it is attached to the car, so that you do not make a mistake when buying a new battery.
Removal
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Using a 10 mm wrench, loosen the nut of the negative terminal clamp bolt.

3. Remove the terminal from the negative terminal of the battery and move the terminal to the side.

4. Remove the protective cover from the positive terminal of the battery. Using a 10 mm wrench, loosen the nut of the clamp bolt of the terminal.

5. Remove the terminal from the positive terminal and move the terminal to the side.

6. Using a 10 mm wrench, unscrew the two mounting nuts...

...remove the pressure plate...

...and ties.

7. Remove the battery from the car.

Installation
We install the battery in the reverse order.
