Sequence of execution
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the front door trim (see "Front door trim - removal and installation").
3. Remove the door glass (see "Door glass - removal and installation").
Note: If the window lifter motor-reducer is faulty and the door glass is in the extreme upper position, and there is no access to the screws that secure it, it is necessary to disconnect the window lifter assembly from the door and lower it into the door cavity together with the glass (see below).
4. Press the lock and disconnect the wiring harness connector from the window regulator.
5. We check the condition of the terminals of the wiring block; if oxides are found, we treat them with a special agent for cleaning and protecting electrical contacts.
6. Using a 10 mm wrench, unscrew the seven mounting bolts...
...and remove the window regulator.
8. Install the parts in reverse order. Before finally tightening the glass mounting bolts, we make sure that it is installed correctly by raising and lowering the glass several times.
