Sequence of execution
1. Prepare the car for work (see "Preparing the car for maintenance and repair").
2. Remove the rear door trim (see "Rear Door Trim - Removal and Installation").
3. Remove the plug under the door seal.

4. Using a TORX T30 key, loosen the plug mounting screw a few turns until it rotates freely.

Note: The screw that secures the plug to the door panel is secured with clamps and does not fall into the door cavity when unscrewed.

5. Remove the plug from the door panel.

6. Move the handle back a little.

...and we remove first the back part of the handle from the door, and then the front part.

7. Remove the outer handle gaskets.

Note: To remove the outer handle bracket, you must drill out the mounting rivet.

8. Install the outer door opening handle in the reverse order. When installing the handle in the door, press on the bracket lever, turning it outward.

9. Lubricate the switch (cylinder) and apply a thin layer of plastic grease to the moving parts of the outer handle (see "Lubrication of hinges and locks").
