1. Disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery.
2. Remove the engine splash guard (see "Removing and installing the engine mudguard").
3. Unscrew the three screws from below that secure the bumper to the left and right protective wing covers.
4. Remove the four screws securing the bumper to the upper cross member of the front of the body and the two screws securing the right and left headlight housings to the bumper.
5. Remove two screws on the left and right side of the wheel arches that secure the bumper to the front fenders and one screw on the left and right side of the fender guards.
6. Remove the bumper by sliding it forward.
7. Remove the three bolts securing the bumper beam to the lower cross member of the body…
8. …and remove the beam.
9. Install the removed parts in the reverse order of removal. When installing the bumper, align its side edges with the edges of the fender casings.
